Use your mouse to navigate cameras and office view. Click to seal vents, reboot audio/camera/ventilation systems when they malfunction, and use audio to lure Springtrap away from your location. Only Springtrap can kill you - phantom animatronics just cause system failures and jumpscares.
Phantom animatronics cause random system malfunctions when they appear. When cameras, audio, or ventilation fail, go to the maintenance panel (camera 1) and hold the reboot button until the bar fills. Ventilation failure causes hallucinations, making phantom encounters more likely.
FNAF 3 has only one lethal threat (Springtrap) but focuses on system management and psychological horror. Phantom animatronics create fear without killing, the building is a horror attraction, and you must actively lure Springtrap using audio rather than just hiding from threats.
Keep Springtrap as far from your office as possible using audio lures on distant cameras. Watch for his glowing eyes in dark cameras and track his movement pattern. When phantoms appear, quickly reboot failed systems and immediately check Springtrap's location since you can't see him during malfunctions.
Available on PC (Steam), iOS, Android, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Very low system requirements: Windows XP/7+, 2GB RAM, 1GB graphics, 2GB storage. Runs on virtually any modern device including low-end hardware.
Each night Springtrap becomes more aggressive and responsive. The difficulty peaks on Night 5 with frequent phantom encounters. To get the good ending, complete all hidden minigames throughout the week to free the children's souls - look for glitched screens and interactive objects.
FNAF 3 is about system management and positioning - keep Springtrap distant with audio lures, quickly repair phantom-caused failures, and stay calm during the psychological horror elements.
